As most good Minnesotans know, fireworks are illegal in our great state. Lots of people are thankful for the short commutes to both Wisconsin and North Dakota where fireworks are legal - and they magically end up being exploded here in Minnesota.
I, however, am a law abiding citizen and do not transport fireworks over state borders. I prefer sparklers.
But, when it's the Fourth of July and there has been too much fun has been had, sparklers are still just as dangerous as some exploding firework and blankets end up on fire.
