A Note on Indian Summer

Although the weather has been unseasonably warm this year, Minneapolis not not having an indian summer. Although the origination of the term "Indian Summer" is a little unclear, it is clear that it's not an Indian Summer until after the first hard frost of the season. And, although there was a frost last weekend in out-state Minnesota, there was no frost in the metro and that means no Indian Summer.
